As Satcom Global grows in size and strength, a key focus for us is the consolidation and development of our value added service portfolio, in order to provide the best service possible to our customers.
Whilst some larger development projects are still underway, we would like to share with you the impressive portfolio of solutions we have available to customers today, bringing a wealth of additional benefits to the satellite communications services we provide.
Billing and Reporting
Our billing and reporting systems work towards making invoicing as transparent as possible, and provide much needed visibility of usage and costs incurred through a billing period.
Real-time satellite airtime traffic information is updated daily, before being pulled into meaningful and useful reports that that can be requested or accessed via GlobalNet or Encapsule8.
Data Management and Control
Our in-house developed IPSignature software for data communications provides a secure environment where all users are strictly controlled, the latest in compression technology is applied and data is transferred in an intelligent and efficient manner. Through our dedicated Web Portal, customers can manage a range of settings and alerts for communicating via IPSignature.
With our GlobalNet site we also provide the ability for customers to manage their own communications by being able to view the status and balance of your SIM cards, purchase top-ups and activate/deactivate your own services. The control is all yours.
Messaging and Web-based Solutions
We’ve developed our own intelligent software solutions that not only provide quick and easy access to a range of data applications, but ensure that your satellite airtime is used in an efficient way.
IPSignature provides controlled access to a range of data applications such as email, SMS, instant messaging, web browsing and more. GlobalMail is our new highly optimised IP-based email solution, and SCMS, provides remote support and configuration management for automatic file transfer over satellite.
Pre-paid Solutions
We offer a wide range of pre-paid options for both voice and data communications. Whether looking for a simple voucher to top-up credit on your handheld satellite phone, or looking to implement pre-paid communications across a shipping fleet, we will work with you to develop a solution to suit your needs.
If you have a GlobalNet account, you can log-in to check your current SIM status and balance, and top-up your account online.
Customer Network Infrastructure
We invest heavily in our network infrastructure to provide a high performance backbone for customer traffic, and a speedy yet secure environment for internet based services.
Our datacentres are hosted in key locations to provide our customers the best service we can, no matter where they are in the world, and are to provide backup and fail-over.
Using the latest Cisco™ X-series equipment in our environment gives us ‘tried and tested’ reliability and security, and customers can be confident that we have a scalable network infrastructure to support our services with strength for now and in the future.
