Cobham EXPLORER 510 BGAN Terminal

New Inmarsat BGAN 10 SIM SCAP
Inmarsat have introduced a new 10 SIM SCAP plan. The new 'Shared Corporate Allowance Plan' allows up to 10 satellite communications users to join and share an allowance on a range of BGAN airtime plans. SCAP’s offer a cost saving opportunity for high users of BGAN voice and data, allowing organisations to share a pool of data and voice minutes across multiple SIM's, offering lower costs per MB than standard BGAN plans and preventing wastage on unused sims. BGAN M2M SCAP closing to new activations
From 30th April 2015, the BGAN M2M SCAP plans will close to new activations.
Customers on existing SCAPs can continue as normal and all terms and conditions will continue to apply. At the end of contract periods, the SCAP will auto renew, however customers will be unable to upgrade or downgrade to other SCAP plans after 30th April.
Please note - all single SIM BGAN M2M plans (global and geographic) remain open.
Thuraya IP End of Life
We'd just like to take this opportunity to remind you that the Thuraya IP satellite communications terminal has come to the end of life, and we will be unable to take any more orders for this product.
We are pleased to advise however that we continue to offer the enhanced Thuraya IP+ terminal for professionals across in media, oil and gas, NGO’s and mining, who require reliable satellite communications. Click here for more info on Thuraya IP+.
Iridium AxcessPoint End of Life
Iridium has announced that the Iridium AxcessPoint Wi-Fi hotspot product has come to end of life, and is now only available while limited stocks last.
This product has been superseded by the new Iridium GO! portable unit providing a mobile WiFi-hotspot for up to 5 devices including smartphones and tablets. Click here for more info on the Iridium GO!
