Make sure you are prepared for all eventualities by checking your satellite is working correctly with the dedicated test line from Iridium.
‘Test Your Satellite Phone Week’ runs from 7th - 13th May, and during this time we encourage all satellite phone users to check the operational status of their satellite phones, to ensure they’re ready for use in any emergency situations.
To test your phone, simply follow the instructions below;
1. Turn on your phone
2. Call 00-1-480-752—5105 (free from Iridium handsets)
3. If your phone is working, you will hear a call completion confirmation message as well as some quick tips on proper handset usage. If you discover that your phone is not operational, then you should contact your Iridium provider.
4. All Satcom Global customers should email [email protected] with their phone details in order to log the problem for investigation.
