10th November 2016
On Friday 4th November 2016, Satcom Global welcomed over 100 valued customers to our third annual customer event in Singapore.
The informal evening event was hosted by our Satcom Global team based out of our Ang Mo Kio office, as well as senior management from our UK HQ including our CEO, Ian Robinson and COO, Alex Stewart among others.
Guests were welcomed to the Aura Sky Lounge on the 6th storey of the recently re-opened National Gallery Singapore with signature Satcom Global cocktails.
Throughout the evening, customers and the Satcom Global team marvelled at the impressive views over the Padang, the location of the legendary Singapore Cricket club, with the impressive skyline of Singapore including Marina Bay Sands looming in the background.
Following an evening full of Italian beers and wine to rack of lamb, rib of beef, seafood risotto and Penne Arrabiata, everyone left with a big smile on their faces as well as a Satcom Global goodie bag.
The event which has become a firm fixture on our annual events calendar was planned to thank our Singapore based customers for their ongoing support as well as discuss exciting new additions to the Satcom Global product portfolio. We are lucky enough to have a large number of our maritime satellite communications customers in one location thanks to the strong shipping, marine and offshore industry in Singapore.
This years’ event follows a successful Satcom Global dealer event held in Brisbane, Australia earlier in the year as well as a number of attendances at events with our partners in France, Iran and the USA. Following to the success of our events over the last three years in Singapore, we are hoping to expand our exciting events calendar and spend time with more customers in different regions around the world.
Again, we want to extend a huge thanks to our friends in the industry, including valued customers and partners who made it down to the event, and we look forward to continuing to further strengthening our growing relationships with you all in the years to come!
