On Friday 16th October 2015, Satcom Global hosted our second fun-filled customer event for over 100 of our valued customers in Singapore.
Hosted by our Satcom Global team in Singapore and senior management from our UK HQ including the CEO of Satcom Global, Ian Robinson , guests were welcomed to Fabrika Sky terrace overlooking the Port of Singapore with our very own Satcom Sourz cocktails.
Despite initial fears that the haze from forest fires in neighbouring Sumatra would make an appearance, instead the air was soon filled with music, laughter and chatter as customers enjoyed live entertainment from the house band and got stuck into an international buffet featuring a roast beef carving station.
Our very own multitalented Satcom Global photographer and maritime engineer snapped away throughout the evening, capturing everything from deep discussions putting the world to rights over a few drinks, to some of our very happy customers dancing! We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do, and hopefully they will help fill in any memory gaps from the fun night ;)
Thanks to the thriving shipping and maritime industry in Singapore we are lucky enough to have a large number of our maritime satellite communications customers all in one location, and following to the success of last year were able to hold an even bigger event again this year! We want to extend a huge thanks to our friends in the industry, valued customers and partners who made it down to the event even with the haze threatening to obscure the amazing view, and we look forward to continuing to build on our already strong relationships with you all in the years to come!
In 2016 we are hoping to expand our exciting events into different regions and get the chance to meet and greet more of our customers around the world .
