On Tuesday 10th March 2015, the eve of the Australian Oil and Gas Expo 2015, Satcom Global hosted an informal welcome event for our valued satellite communications customers, service providers and partners based in Western Australia.
The event, held at the Stellar Lounge in the popular Subiaco Hotel in Perth, was in celebration of the opening of our new Satcom Global office in Perth which brings our team closer to their loyal customers and partners in Western Australia, reaffirming our commitment to world class customer support across the globe.
The new office will allow our teams to work more closely with our customer and service providers, to provide them with a solution that fits their needs for maritime, land, M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and handheld satellite communications.
Mirroring the global reach of Satcom Global, guests dined from international food platters from the infamous Subiaco Hotel restaurant, including pork belly, crispy calamari, guacamole flatbreads, sushi and spring rolls, which were followed by delectable miniature desserts including sticky date pudding and hazelnut fudge brownie. Guests also enjoyed drinks from the bar, with a local flavour – ale from the Little Creatures brewery in Perth and wines from the celebrated Margaret River region nearby.
We want to extend a huge thanks to our valued customers and partners who made it down to the event during what was an incredibly busy week for those in the oil and gas industry in Perth. We look forward to continuing to build on our already strong relationships with you all!
There certainly were a few sore heads in the morning when Australia’s largest resource industry event, the Australian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference opened its doors. Held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre (PCEC), AOG welcomed over 620 exhibiting companies from 25 countries for the three day event, allowing our friendly Satcom Global Oceania team to spend more time catching up with our valued partners and esteemed colleagues in the oil and gas industry.
We hope to be able to catch up with more of our customers around the world in similar exciting Satcom Global and industry events throughout 2015.
