Satcom Global is pleased to announce the extension of Iridium’s OpenPort Double Value Promotion until 30th June 2015. The extension of the limited time promotion will offer OpenPort subscribers promotional service plans that double the data and/or voice allowance on several popular OpenPort service packages. In addition, to expand Iridium’s service value and provide an affordable high-value broadband solution, the current OpenPort 200 MB, 1000 MB, and 5000 MB plans will have double the data allowance for subscribers that sign a 24 month commitment. Combo Plans E and F will provide double the data AND double the voice allocation. New Iridium OpenPort subscribers will also receive a $2000 service credit.
Promotion Details:
New or existing subscribers which activate on select Iridium OpenPort plans1:
- Receive double the data and/or voice allocation (24 month term commitment required);
- Receive a credit for two free months plan’s base MRC; and
- Receive a one-time $2000 service credit (new subscribers only2)
Who Qualifies:
All Satcom Global customers who are new or existing Iridium OpenPort subscribers are eligible to participate. Existing customers on these plans may migrate to these plans per the terms of their existing service pricing. Any Iridium OpenPort subscribers that have not fulfilled their current commitment will be assessed an early termination fee to move to one of the promotional plans.

2 To qualify for the new subscriber credit, the activation must occur with a new SIM on a vessel that has not previously had Iridium OpenPort service. Iridium reserves the right to request further information about the vessel to audit and validate proper use of this program.
Effective December 31st, 2018, the No Term Commitment - Double Value Promotion for Iridium OpenPort® has ended. Customers already enrolled will not experience any changes until the end of their term.
