Satcom Global are looking further strengthen the customer care team in our Bangkok office with a friendly new face!

- Provide quality support ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and customer care
- Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via email, telephone or fax in accordance with current service standards
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to customers
- Participate in team projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of support
- Proactive in identifying and resolving support related issues.
Qualifications/Experience/Special Skills required:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant subject
- Enthusiasm and commitment to customer services
- In depth knowledge of Inmarsat/Iridium/Thuraya/VSAT systems
- Understanding of communications technology would be advantageous. (TCP/IP / ISDN / Dial-up)
- Solid understanding of networks (LAN / WAN)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT environment, preferably in a Support / Engineer capacity
- Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Outlook, Office
- Excellent communications skills in English (Writing, Speaking, Listening, Comprehension)
- Any foreign language skills would be advantageous such as Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian
- Able to work on a roster / shift
- Knowledge of maritime industry methods would be advantageous
