Cobham SATCOM, the leading manufacturer of SAILOR communications equipment, has issued a mandatory software update for the following maritime radio series:
- SAILOR 63xx MF/HF DSC Class A Series, both version A and version B.
The new software update is regarded as “critical and mandatory” as it provides a fix for possible data corruption during distress procedure, and as such it should be performed as soon as possible, to avoid potential issues when a distress call is made.
