Inmarsat Introduces BGAN Link Mobility Initiative To help NGOs Efforts Against Ebola Crisis

In support of international relief efforts to contain the Ebola virus in West Africa, Satcom Global is glad to announce the following initiative for our aid and NGO customers, which is effective immediately:

  • Complete mobility will be enabled on BGAN Link 3 and 12 month plans within countries most affected by the Ebola crisis. This means that there will be no 'fixed location' restrictions for BGAN Link within Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. More countries may be added if the outbreak spreads further
  • This applies to qualifying BGAN Link plans activated within the next six months - between now and the 31 March 2015 - and will expire when the plan subscribed to expires, or by the 31 March 2016, whichever comes first
  • For 12 month BGAN Link contracts only, Satcom Global customers are also eligible for free BGAN terminals (Hughes 9201) from Inmarsat whilst stocks last. Please Just Ask your Satcom Global Account Manager for more details as well as Terms and Conditions.

This increased mobility promotion is only available to NGO and Aid organisations, and we hope that this initiative will effectively support their efforts to tackle the Ebola crisis.
