Satcom Global has a team of multi-skilled maritime engineers qualified to carry out a range of vessel annual surveys or annual performance tests (APT) to meet the requirements for safety for a range of boat class societies, for our customers across the globe. These include:

• Vessel Safety Radio Surveys (including SSAS, AIS and EPIRB’s): for NKK, DNV, GL  and ABS class societies
• (S)VDR APT’s: for Kelvin Hughes and Furuno

Our maritime engineers are also qualified to carry out onboard annual maintenance services of integral maritime equipment such as vessel gyro compasses and marine radar. This vessel equipment servicing, although not always compulsory is advised to keep equipment in good working order and even extend the equipments lifespan. Support for vessel system maintenance includes:

• Full support meeting Raytheon Anschütz annual servicing requirements for the Standard 20 and 22 gyro compasses
• Retrofit solutions for Raytheon Anschütz Standard 4 and 14 as well as Gyrostar: retrofitting to Standard 22
